There will never be another quite like her. She loved life and made everyone around her feel a little better because of her zest. She never had any children of her own, causing her the most pain and unhappiness she was ever to bear but she made up for it by having countless God children, many many nieces and nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews. Through the years she would send each of them a birthday card with their lucky dollar inside. Anyone who ever ate at hers and Uncle Vic's house were treated toa groaning table of fantastic food, most of it grown in her gardens over the years. No one ever walked away hungry. She also had an asparagus bed that was her pride and joy.
After Uncle Vic died she carried on and continued to treat anyone who came to her house as an honored guest. The whole family will also remember her for the wonderful crocheted pieces and ornaments she made every Christmas for all of us. Every time we put them on the tree we will think of her.
We will miss you Aunt Nina!!

In Peace she is...Although I never had the privilege to meet Aunt Nina in person, I felt like I knew her through all of you/the family. Thoughtful and loving post :) Thank you
I have so many fond memories of Aunt Nina and think of her fondly. She was always generous to us and I will miss her. And I'll never have another meal with as much food as when we went to visit her!! A treasure on earth and an angel in heaven. Rest in peace, Aunt Nina
